About Me
I grew up in Waterford, Pennsylvania, a mixed suburban-rural community outside Erie. I'm the first person in my family to enter the tech industry and the first to study Computer Engineering.
Unlike a lot of engineers I know, I wasn't sure about my career path, and questioned whether I wanted to attend college until the summer before my first semester. That summer, I found an online course called CS50 taught through Harvard by Professor David Malan, and it has changed my life.
The one thing I was sure about was that I loved computers. And after discovering how much I enjoyed creating through code in CS50, I decided to study Computer Engineering at the only college I applied to, Penn State. Computer Engineering was the perfect intersection of software and hardware for me, and I haven't regretted the choice since.
Outside of work and school, I have a couple hobbies I am deeply passionate about. Some of these include lifting weights, baking/cooking, watching movies, and discussing world news. I also love my friends, family, cats, and dogs in my life. They are the reason I keep working to achieve my goals every day.
